Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 管理科學研究所 === 90 === Spare parts of semiconductor equipment are high cost, high difference of usage, unstable lead time and supplying and demand uncertainty etc. leading to various barriers of inventory control. This research aims to propose two simple fast-moving spare parts inventory control models for high frequent usage and expensive spare parts. These two simple models are constructed based on the previous annual averaging and forecasting demand. One is constrained to service level and minimized to the objectiveness of total cost, and it is calculated by a computer program in order to obtain the optimal order quantity and re-order point. The other bring the demand forecasting into the inventory model, and it is, similarly, calculated by the computer program in order to obtain the optimal order quantity and re-order point at different time period. These two models are established on the supplier perspective. According to the importance of the semiconductor equipment, common spare parts can be divided into critical and non-critical spare parts. A specific (Q, r) inventory policy is adopted but only supply critical spare parts below the re-order point.
