Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 設計管理研究所 === 90 === For the coming age of digital world, the issues such as saving time expenses of product development, raising the quality of product, lower cost of the manufacturing are all seen as the key competitive advantages for most hi-production and hi-plus-extra-value manufacturing industries. Therefore, the integrative technology, which can tackle these problems are eagerly expected. Research methods, such as: literature discourse, case study and virtual reality (VR) are applied to explore the relative feature of designers’ experience in practical, and the relative advantages and disadvantages in regarding the application of 3D Scanner System in computer aided styling design (CAD) are compared and summed. Through the simulative experiment, the study outcome is summarized as follows: the 3D Scanner System is useful in fast VR model construction, however has no significant effect for the style feature controlling in comparison with the traditional CAD software in the experiment. Generally, most designers appreciate this new technology and its application rewardingly. For the future prospective, this study is practical and beneficial for both education and industry for CAD modeling and effective product development.
