〈Abstract〉
In 2000, “ The Chung -Hsing Bills Finance Scandal”happened in the president election , and then the Chen shui-bian’s new book “The First Voyage of the 21st Century” published in the legislator election. The research gathers the news reports that relate with the two cases and analyzes the gatekeepers’ performances, the interaction between the news resource and journalists, the agenda building, and the reports of the different news frames. Especially, what’s the main purpose of“ The Chung -Hsing Bills Finance Scandal” in the president election ? What’s the effect of the President Chen shui-bian’s new book “The First Voyage of the 21st Century”? And what kind of meaning is created by the two cases?
The study suggests the newsrooms and gatekeepers report with news professionalism, news ethnics and with the neutral position. Maybe, they will use the objective point of views and justice to face the news resource and information subsidy.
The study reviews a lot of news literature, and evaluates the media by content analysis method and intensive interview. And it uses the view of news moral and social responsibility to analyze the media performance.
The study not only figures out the media’s attitude but also analyzes the relationship between media agenda building and social realization.
The main questions of this study as follows：
1、 The agenda building among three media and the attitude of the gatekeeper.
2、 How the three media build the “fact?” Whether the news resource controls
the media or not? Do the media have to accept the information subsidy?
3、 What factors affect the news content when the media have the same news resource?
4、 Should newsroom have more news professionalism and autonomy, when they face the pressure of the news resource?
