Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士在職專班 === 90 === This Paper discusses about information hiding in binary images. With the rapid growth of Internet, we can have lots of communication via electronic document on Internet easily. When we utilize these electronic documents to replace handwriting documents gradually, we cannot distinguish the electronic document which one is the original one. Therefore, how to carry information by electronic documents in binary image form is an important research topic. We propose two approaches about information hiding and a technique for image authentication in binary images. The first information hiding approach is the matching and substitution method by using flip-flop block structures. We considered flip-flop blocks as flip-flop registers with similar logical characteristics. The methods of data embedding and data extraction proceed by using block matching and block substitution procedures. The second information hiding approach uses the even-odd relationship in run-length block structures. The embedding method proceeds by adjusting the lengths of the black run and white run in blocks. Experimental results have been conducted to show the feasibility of the proposed approaches.
