In this case,Dapotu landslide & Zujijen landsilde(which was located in Chishan Country,Taitung,Taiwan) would be the experimental area.Unconfined compression,Saturated unconfined compression in the maxialcell and Triaxial compression test will be used on the clay mineral that was drilled from rock. Most mudstone of Lichi melange in the Chishan country(belong to the Coastal Mountains of Eastern Taiwan) Was weakling mudstone. With the mechanical properties of mudstone deeply influenced by water content. The mechanical property of our experimental specimen shows alternative variance with its high variant water content. Unconfined compression strength of Dapotu near 2.2MPa and same in Zujijen was 27.5MPa.In this research we find that when water content higher than 10%.Unconfined compression strength of mud stone will alternately decreasing(0.05MPa in Dapotu mudstone and 0.02MPa in Zujijen).Unconfined compression strength and elastic index of Zujijen were much larger than the same in Dapotu mudstone. These illustration of the strength of Dapotu mudstone was weaker than Zujijen mudstone. X-ray shows that clay mineral in this corrupt area included Mont,Vm,Chl,Kaol,Mica,and etc. Coefficient of permeability of these two experimental area between 0.9*10-5 to 1.60*10-5 m/s. All almost belong to aquiclude。Cohesion of Dapotu mudstone was 25 and 58 kPa.Angel of internal friction equal to 12. Cohesion Zujijen mudstone. 李正義 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 88 zh-TW
