Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 畜產學系 === 90 === Owing to computer application on livestock production becomes more and more spread widely, and farmers self-manufacturing feed are growing rapidly in Taiwan, this study was therefore made to design a package including simple feed formulation calculation and ingredient inventory management to meet the farmer needs, and to provide them a better effective management regime on the feed ingredients. This system was written in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and Microsoft Access database. The system was divided into four modules in terms of inputting basic data (customer, ingredient, medicine, vitamin, amino acid, mineral, loading date, unit price, amount, and ingredient composition), formulation calculation, inventory management (recording and searching quantity in and out, searching inventory ingredient, and stock taken), and printing report. The inventory management system could let the managers to understand the inventory condition on the ingredients, medicines, vitamin, amino acid and mineral to make the most effective adjustment and usage on ingredients. The managers could therefore load their ingredients at the pertinent time to avoid wastage and reduce their ingredient cost. This system was executed on the Windows operation system and could help farmers to consider their livestock growth condition to make as a calculation tool to formulate animal feed rapidly.
