Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 工程科學系碩博士班 === 90 === In hospitals, patient records are the catalogues that record medical treatments for the patients. Physicians can diagnose quickly, exactly and treat patient through the patient records. According the records, patients can be taken care continuously by the medical care provider. They are recognized as the most assets for hospitals. In order to meet the requirements for the specialization of hospital management, with higher medical care qualities and medical services payment. A computerized hospital management is required to save the manpower and the storage space for patient information to promote healthcare quality and cost effective. Therefore, the development of the EPR(Electronic Patient Record)system is considered to be important. This research is emphasized on the information interchange for patient records, according to the HL/7(Health Level Seven)standard. The electronic data interchange mechanism of XML(eXtensible Markup Language)is taken for the medium format of patient records. Because the medical information are numerous and complex, this research adopts the DOM (Document Object Model) and XMLHTTP object to access all data of the XML documents. We also use XML Schema to validate the completeness and validity of the received documents. Finally we realize a web-based EPR system under the internet environment and hope to reach the goal for accelerating the circulation of the medical information and reducing the squander of the medical resources. This system confers every environment and procedure of the medical tasks by UML(Unified modeling Language)to designate the participating users, and analyze the user’s requirements in each field. Thus, the system functions and the development architecture can be well defined. The interchange model of EPR in this system is expected to be a valuable reference for those who need to implement EPR system in the future.
