Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 航空太空工程學系碩博士班 === 90 === On the modern world, the handy devices are convenient in livelihood applications, such as PDA, cell phone, and etc. The most popular mobile phone has received remarkable increase in Taiwan since 1996. The network facility has completely installed and become mature in wider expansions. The mobile communication not only can provide voice communication, but also offer data link services. In 2001, when GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) has been announced as a new communication technology to connect into web network, commonly known as 2.5G, can provide much higher data rate and less fare to Internet services. In this thesis, GPRS network-based system architecture is proposed to integrate GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver with several other avionics devices to design and implement dynamic data surveillance for helicopters. In this design, the airborne digitalized data and GPS data of position, speed, altitude, are combined with other avionics data, while the ND may display GIS map for flight director. The client system also sends these data through GPRS network to the surveillance center as the server system. The server system collects and analyzes the data from several client systems, and processes and stores those real time data into the database server for querying to realize an ideal of “Black Box on the ground”. This paper demonstrates the concept and design of this proposed system in details, carries out several experiments to test the performance of GPRS mobile network, and verifies the feasibility and reliability of the proposed system.
