Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育學系 === 90 === The purpose of this study was to apply the teaching strategy of problem solving toward the development of computer assisted learning (CAL) system. An initial prototype system was made. The main focus of this system was the orthogonal projection unit being used in the mechanical drawing class in vocational high school. The expectation was to utilize the advantage of multi-media CAI toward helping the teachers teach more efficiently and the students learn more effectively. Some concrete suggestions about teaching with CAI in the mechanical drawing class are offered. The development of this system uses a Systematic Design of Instruction model that consists of 4 steps: system analysis and planning, system design, system development, and system evaluation and adjustment. The development tools used were Macromedia Authorware 6.0, Macromedia Flash 5, and Solidworks 2001. Authorware 6.0 was used as the main body, supplemented by the display animation made with Flash 5 and Solidworks 2001. The result was a problem-solving-based computer-assisted learning system that was capable of displaying, modeling, and interacting with students. Several experts of this field and students majoring in mechanical drawing were asked to evaluate and critique this system. The followings were the conclusion of this research: 1. Systematic Design of Instruction is one of the ways to develop CAI teaching software. 2. The key to successful system development is teamwork. 3. The design of human computer interface and the production of animation are the key to attracting the attention and participation of the students. Finally, the researcher provides concrete suggestions toward the improvement of the system, the selection of development tools, the design personnel, and the on-going research.
