Tou-Cheng Junior High School is the most typical example among all projects. This study is aimed at understanding the feedbacks from the staff and how frequently they use the new buildings after its rehabilitation. Issues related to its campus planning, funds raising, school buildings constructing, and the migration of schools are also discussed in this study. Findings and recommendations of this study may provide a reference for Tou-Cheng Junior High School and I-Lan County to improve the renewal planning for campus construction. The ideas of campus planning, reasons affecting campus planning, and definition of users’ Post-Occupancy Evaluation were explored in the literature review, while the combined methods of observation, interview and questionnaire were adopted to carry out the research towards constructed environment of Tou-Cheng Junior High School , and collected data were then analyzed by the author. The main findings of this study and recommendation are summarized as follows: Findings I. The teaching staff and pupils are satisfied in overall with the campus renewal condition. II. The teaching staff and pupils are not unsatisfied with the facilities on the campus. III. The teaching staff and pupils regard the location of their school as acceptable. IV. The teaching staff are satisfied with the classroom space while the pupils think it is just acceptable. V. As to the placement of leisure space, the teaching staff are nearly satisfied with it, and the pupils think it is acceptable. VI. The teaching staff are nearly satisfied with the service equipment, while pupils view it as acceptable. VII. About the decoration inside the buildings, the teaching staff are satisfied with it and the pupils are nearly satisfied. VIII. The teaching staff and pupils both think the arrangement of teaching equipment is acceptable. IX. The most popular place for the teaching staff to go during break time is classroom. X. The most popular places for pupils to go during break time are classrooms and corridor outside the classrooms, while the least popular places are entertainment classrooms and outdoor show stage on the stairs. XI. The most popular usages of the facilities for students to use during break time are talking to someone, just passing by, wondering around, and sit down and relax. Recommendations I. Regarding the campus renewal in the Tou-Cheng Junior High School (I) To bring out the upmost utility of facilities, the school should reorganize the placements of classrooms. (II)The utility rate of classrooms is the highest among all, hence the replenishment of inner equipments should be prior to anything else to meet the needs of both teaching staff and pupils. (III)The school should hold more group activities to increase the utility rates of facilities. (IV)The school should illustrate to the teaching staff and pupils about the using methods and functions of facilities in the construed environment. (V)The planning and design of school construction should be involved with a wider interface of participation. (VI)The school should put more emphasis on propagandizing the idea of multi-usage of campus space. (VII)The school should increase public using time of school buildings. II. Regarding the planning for the campus construction in the I-Lan County (I) It is not appropriate that the installments of school construction are too many, and the dividing of constructional interfaces needs to be clearer. (II)The space design of school campus should blend with local cultures. (III)Space in the school campus should be combined with local leisure space. (IV)The planning of campus space should match up the curriculum and the reformation of teaching methods. (V)To improve school teaching environment, the replenishment of teaching equipment in the classrooms should be prior to other equipments.
