Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 風險管理與保險所 === 90 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of claim factors on pre-accident attributes, the external environment, compensation systems, and post-accident factors in automobile third party liability insurance. Relying on the data collected from Taiwanese insured establishments, the principal factor and regression analysis results of the study found that (1) the sexual status of the driver caused accident, the claim amount of property damage, and the claim amount of bodily injury have significant positive impact on claim factors (2) marriage status has significant negative impact. The results, to certain extent, support our hypotheses and practicability in the study. In particular, the study found the characters of driver cased accident is related to the claim factors, not the characters of the insured. It implies the actuarial inequity. To further study, we may safely arrive at the conclusion that the higher the degree of adverse selection, the more likely insurer income were decreased.
