Therefore we use statistic analysis to explore below subjects: 一、Exploring the relationship between different personal characteristic(personalbackground 、 internal or external control achievement orientation) and bank mergers. 二、Exploring the relationship between personal characteristics(personal background 、 internal or external control achievement orientation) and organizational commitment. 三、Exploring the relationship between organizational commitment and bank mergers. The study utilized employees of The international commercial bank of China as study subjects(the bank was one of our government advanced to merger), sent 440 questionnires in total and received 389. After analyized, we got these conclusions: 一、Employees’ personal backgrounds、internal or external control will partly affect attitudes of bank mergers. 二、Employees’ personal backgrounds will partly affect organizational commitment. 三、Employees’ achievement orientation will affect attitudes of bank mergers. 四、Employees’ organizational commitment will affect attitudes of bank mergers. 五、Characteristics and organizational commitments will significantly affect attitudes of bank mergers.
