Referenced by past research, the study tool is the self-designed “Index of Primary School Teachers’ Work Values”, ”Index of Primary School Teachers’ Quality of Work Life,” and “Index of Primary School Teachers’ Organizational Commitment.” Totally 837 sample teachers were surveyed in all of the primary teachers in Kaohsiung City, Kaohsiung County and Pindong County. The hypotheses were tested through statistical analyses including one-way ANOVA,Pearson product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The main findings are: 1.“Organizational safety” is the most important factor in all work values; primary school teachers are most satisfied with their “teaching work” when evaluating their current quality of work life and teachers are most “willing to make efforts” in all organizational commitment. 2.Different background variables make work values of primary school teachers vary greatly in some aspects. 3.Different background variables make the quality of work life of the primary school teachers significantly different in some aspects. 4.Different background variables have a significant influence in most aspects of the organizational commitment of primary school teachers. 5.Primary school teachers who have different work values and quality of work life are also significantly different in their organizational commitment. 6.The more emphasis primary school teachers put on their work values, the more satisfied most teachers are in their quality of work life. The more emphasis primary school teachers put on their work values, the more willing most teachers will be to commit to their organization. The more satisfied primary school teachers are toward the quality of their work life, the more willing teachers will be to commit to their organization. 7.In all work values, achieved reputation correlates the most with the organizational commitment. In all index of quality of work life, the executive force correlates the most with the organizational commitment. The analysis with a joint variable of work values and quality of work life shows that the executive force still correlates the most with the organizational commitment.
