| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺中師範學院 === 數學教育學系 === 90 === The paper is mainly focus on the discovery of the power of Latent growth model (LGM hereafter) to be used for the reference of model modification .The latent growth models to be studied are much popularized in recent years especially at longitudinal study. Latent growth model was derived from theories of the structural equation models (SEM). This paper is based on the method proposed by Satorra, & Saris in 1985 to make a research for the power of LGM. The power of LGM is varied by three variables, the average growth rate, the variance of latent variables and sample sizes. This paper is to check the impact of these three variables to the power of LGM and tabulate the list of the powers for reference of the further researches.
