To explore elementary school teachers’ perception of job burnout. 3. To investigate the differences in teachers’ perception of their job stress in different background variables. 4. To investigate the differences in teachers’ perception of their job burnout in different background variables . 5. To explore the relationship between the teachers’ job stress and job burnout. 6. To analyze the influence of different background variables on the teachers’ job stress and job burnout. 7. To offer concrete suggestions for edutional agency and elementary schools. The study was conducted through questionnaire survey. There were 429 with a ratio of 87.73% usable samples received from the target elementary school teachers in Changhua County. The statistical techniques were descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, canonical correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
