Summary:碩士 === 臺南師範學院 === 教師在職進修數學碩士學位班 === 90 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the different attitudes of elementary school teachers towards computer and network technology in mathematics education. The samples included 510 elementary school teachers in Tainan County. These teachers have different family and educational backgrounds and working experiences. I used a survey instrument that I created myself called “The Scale of Elementary Teachers’ Attitude towards Computer and Network Technology in Mathematics Education” for this thesis project. The data were analyzed with percentage, t-test, one-way ANOVA. The findings demonstrated that (1) gender, (2) ages, (3) college majors, (4) working experiences, and (5) computer ownership influenced the attitudes towards computer and network technology in mathematics education among elementary school. Based on the results of the study, I made some proposals to teachers, school districts, and policy makers. Further studies were suggested as well.
