Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺南師範學院 === 教師在職進修數學碩士學位班 === 90 === The Diagnostic and Remedial Instruction in Area Concept of the Children with Learning Disabilities Chien-Chung Tzng Abstract Area concept learning in the elementary school lays stress upon the importance of constructing the concept dynamically, regardless the use of identification, comparisons in size or points, duplication, segmentation or combination. In actual operation, implicit motion is reflected. Moreover, measuring action and segment combination yield significant time errors due to operator’s sluggish deduction and linking. Consequently, the computer instructional design in this study intends to exploit the powerful numerical operation and visual representation effect and blend them into learning activities in mathematics. This study exploits the features of computer software application to design a situation for learning area. The windows environment will change visually in sync with mouse control or numerical input to provide learners with more immediate and precise feedback as compared with traditional methods. Hence, learners will acquire the concept of area and the equation of calculating area. t Keyword: computer instruction, visual representation, area concept, myth in area concept
