國小學童的職業偏好及其相關因素研究

碩士 === 臺南師範學院 === 教師在職進修輔導教學碩士學位班 === 90 === Abstract The research investigates, from the view point of Gottfredson’s theory of circumscription and compromise in vocational preference, the development of vocational preferences of elementary school students in the country to find out if the result matches Gottfredson’s theory of step 2 and step 3 circumscription and compromise in vocational preference. Pick testees, using judgmental cluster sampling method. Then, pick 1031 students of 40 classes at elementary schools from 4 southern cities and counties, which include Tainan city, Tainan county, Kaohsiung city and Kaohsiung, as valid samples. Perform the investigation, and adopt “questionnaires of vocational preferences” as the research tool. Use independent X2, statistics methods, stepwise regression analysis method, and testify these 5 assumptions. The research result is as follows, 1. Elementary school students’ “gender” is related to vocational images of “sex type of vocational preferences”, which matches Gottfredson’s suggested age range. Furthermore, “gender”, which explains 46.7% of over-all measure of variation, has most impact on vocational images of “sex type of vocational preferences”. 2. “Gender” and “Study Achievement”, which explains 3.5% of over-all measure of variation, have reached the level of significance regarding to their impacts on vocational images of “prestige level vocational preference”. At the end, according to research result, the researcher brings out useful suggestions regarding the application on career counseling of elementary schools.
