In order to achieve above purpose,My historical research was used to complete by collecting and analyzing the literature. About the arrangement of the framework,the study states the patriotic song from 1895 to 1987 by the sequence of the period individually,and analyzes the different of national identity that Taiwan people have had with the angle of official and nonofficial discussion. The findings are as follows: In the content of the patriotic songs,the part of official discussion showed:1. the official language;2. the use of folk rhyme;3.the instrumental role of Taiwan.The nonofficial discussion displays the against of Taiwan people to the foreign colonial regime positively or negatively between the Japanese Colonial Period and the Martial Law Period.Though the voice of the patriotic songs,Taiwan people expressed their require of “Taiwan nationalism”. In shaping national identity,in the Japanese Colonial Period, there were four situations--“identifying oneself with Japanese”,“identifying oneself with Chinese”,“identifying oneself with Taiwanese”,and“identity Crisis”.In the Martial Law Period,the keynote of identity was“identifying oneself with Chinese”.When Taiwan people required their franchise,the standpoint that Taiwan people was bound with Taiwan was showed up further.
