They are “introduction”, “system design method”, “system reference case”, “database design method” and “development in the future”. In the first chapter, it explains the background of research, the purpose of research, and introduces ISO/IEC 15504 that is the basic knowledge of this paper. In the second chapter, it explains how to use practices in ISO/IEC 15504 to real world. It will explain more with order of practices analysis, rules creation, process working, and implement example. Last, using 3-D coordinates system to show how to assess the software capability level of some organization. In the furth chapter, it explains how to use two assessment document with a real case. These documents are “work products of process reference content in detail” and “process capability checklist”. In the forth chapter, it explains how to design database system to software process assessment reference model. It contains the design of database structure and tables. In the last chapter, it explains there are two way for more development in the future. One is the evolution of assessment method, the other is the design of assessment tools.
