Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 電信工程學研究所 === 90 === The excitation and radiation properties of cylindrical dielectric resonator antennas have been investigated. The input impedance and radiation pattern with various geometrical aspect ratios, dielectric constants and feeding structures are simulated. Three feeding structures are studied: coaxial-fed probe, coaxial-fed conformal microstrip and CPW-fed conformal microstrip. The last feeding structure can be easily implemented and integrated with MMIC while retaining the advantages of DR antennas such as low cost, small size and free of conductor loss.
