The burner was designed with three staged airs. The experimental works are studied under the same overall air supply condition. A series of experiments were conducted to reduce the flame temperature by varies the three stages air ratio, and find out the optimal operating condition for reducing the NOx Emission in the burner system. During the three staged air combustion, the mixing of fuel and air in preheating zone controlled the major emission of NOx. The variation of second and third staged air percentage will help to lower the NOx emission further. The finding of this study may aid the design of the Lower NOx burner system. H. K.
