Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 化學工程系 === 90 === Abstract The effects of five series of low-profile additives(LPA),including(i) reactive vinyl acetate/methyl methacrylate block copolymer (VAc-b-MMA),(ii) saturated polyester, on the volume shrinkage characteristics and internal pigmentability for the low-shrinkage unsaturated polyester resin(UP) after the cure at 30℃ were investigated. The reactive LPAs were synthesized by suspension polymerizations using polymeric peroxides(PPO) as initiator.These LPAs are reactive since there are peroxide linkages in their backbones,which are capable of thermal decomposition during cure,and may participate in the free radical crosslinking copolymerizations for the ST/UP/LPA/system.The experimental results have been explained by phase characteristic of the Styrene/UP/LPA system before the cure,cured sample morphology and volume fraction of microvoid generated during the cure.
