And the enterprise’s self-owned warehouse is uncertainly large enough to satisfy the demand of the inventory storage within any time. Therefore the enterprise has to rent some other warehouse [RW], and the research of the “EOQ Model of Two Level of Storage” is derivational. However, as the results of the aggressive competition of the warehousing industry, it’s usual for the entity to offer the quantity discount of the storage rate to boost the revenue. But among these concerned researches, the researchers all assumed the storage rate of RW is constant. Consequently, the EOQ neglect the quantity discount of the storage rate would obviously be not the optimal solution. To reconsider this problem, in this research we will incorporate the quantity discount of the storage rate of RW. For better understanding the inventory management model in the practice, the final part of this research would proceed with the interviews of the warehousing companies to find the degrees of proof and the applicable style. The results of the structured model and the sensitivity analysis could generalize how much the change of each parameter has on the optimal decision. According to the results of the interviews, this research discovered that not only the warehousing companies indeed offer the quantity discount of the storage rate, but also the appropriate operating styles and the specified inventory items. Therefore, this research could offer the inventory managers, who have the demand of the rented warehouse, a more practical decision model and also a reference of daily inventory management.
