In a good supply chain environment, the resources inside and outside enterprise should be considered together. The scope of planning is not limited to a company itself but beyond the whole supply chain. Traditional material requirement planning (MRP) logic in enterprise resource planning (ERP) system can’t solve supply chain problems because of its assumption of infinite capacity. In recent years, advanced planning and scheduling (APS) system has became a feasible approach to reach an efficient supply chain management. Advanced planning and scheduling is an advanced technology that mainly focuses on balancing the supply and demand intra and inter enterprises by considering the limited enterprise resources. The objective of this research is to propose a system integration method based on process-analysis and data level design patterns through process-oriented data modeling. The methodology is first to identify business process components from business operation process analysis and analyze the logic of application systems to construct a system integration process. Then the business object model (BOM) and its metadata, which is the kernel of system integration approach proposed in this study, are constructed. At the system implementation phase, the business object models are first mapped to identify the data inconsistency, and then the data needs to be integrated and queried and transfered using the migration tool or application interface. The quarried data will be helpful in providing system engineers to easily manage the data transferring strategy in the data integration process. Li-Chih Wang 王立志 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 154 zh-TW
