Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 工業工程學系 === 90 === Because Industry of medical are promoting many applications of the HL7 standard, our research is also emphasize the applications of HL7 and try to build the reference database based on HL7 standard. The goal of build this database is let each systems not the same can receive and send HL7 messages. The other goal is to provide another solution different from the solutions nowadays. Our research topic is to build a HL7 reference database(HL7-RDB) and let each systems can communicate with HL7, so we apart from our research into two parts. One is to explain how to build the reference database. The first step is to introduce the way of design a rational database and explain how to create tables which can present the rational data and conform to HL7 standard, after create these tables we do normalization to verify the HL7 reference database obey the rules about design a rational database. Our research also has detailed description about the message structure of HL7 standard and the rule about message exchange. This is helpful for reader to know more about HL7. The other part of our research is the meaning about the HL7 reference database stands for the process of system design. We will discuss about this meaning and make two examples to prove the practicability of the HL7 reference database. We will describe the advantages about use this reference database to build any medical system., and analyze the difference between the way use HL7-RDB to build a system and the way use structure system analysis traditionally. Our research will discuss about these two different solution about system design in two aspect, one is the user of the system and the other are the people whose job is to create the system. At least we will introduce two examples to verify the practicability of the HL7-RDB. One of these examples will explain how a medical system use HL7-RDB as its database can communicate with another system also use HL7-RDB as its database. Two of these examples will explain how a medical system use HL7-RDBas its database can communicate with it’s legacy systems whose database are not HL7-RDB. We use these two examples to explain how HL7-RDB can use in any situation.
