We have studied the effects of reaction conditions on the synthesis of propylene oxide. When EBHP is used as the oxidant for propylene epoxidation , it must be obtained from the oxidation of ethylbenene. EBHP is unstable at high concentration and is easy to decompose at high temperature. That may increase the production of by-product. In order to raise the yield of propylene oxide, we must focus on the ethylbenzene oxidation. we found that the PH values of the EBHP solutuion decreased during the oxidation of ethylbenzene,which resulted in the decrease of catalyst activity. Aqueous solution of NaOH was added to neutralize the EBHP solution. Superior results were obtained at the optimum epoxidation conditions. Silica gel、Si-MCM-41and Si-MCM-48 were choosed as the support for titanium atoms and the catalysts was prepared by chemical vapor deposition. Si-MCM-41and Si-MCM-48 are mesoporous molecular sieve with high surface area. We studied the effect of calcinations temperature on the catalyst activity. The catalysts were analyzed with ICP、BET and XRD. Kinetic studies indicated that propylene epoxidation by EBHP was a pseudo first order reaction, and the activation energy was 47.78 kJ/mol K 李國禎 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
