However human’s living space is restricted in earth, so they are not able to do endless development. Therefore land resource should be reused in proper opportunity. Lands of city are proceeded the reused work or second development by a method for Urban-renewal in order to reduce the cost of civic construction, also to solve the problem of city development. The Eco-planning is the new idea comes from “Sustainable development”. That is new Urban planning which based on Ecology and add with Eco-planning and Eco-management .
This research try to work the theory of Eco-planning into urban-renewal. To investigate how to utilize Eco-planning in Urban planning. Also use the renovated area of Da-Li street for example. Basically there are six chapters of this research.
The first chapter is introducing the motive, scope and limitation. Second chapter describes the development of Eco-planning and review the three systems of the theory — natural eco-system, economy eco-system and social eco-system. Then fix the target and judging standards of Eco-planning of Urban planning. Third chapter collects the basic information of Da-Li street area for making basis of background investigation. Fourth chapter under the target of Eco-planning to set up the investigation articles in order to proceed the investigation of present environment. Fifth chapter proposes the developmental theme and measure of Da-Li street area, according to the result from the investigation.
