Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立師範學院 === 社會科教育研究所 === 90 === The purpose of the study is to investigate the situation of the political socialization of Shin-Dian City’s elementary school students, understanding the relationships between political knowledge and attitude and political behavior; the differences in political socialization efficacy exhibited by students from different backgrounds; as well as the related issues between each of these results. First, there was a review of related literature and integrating this with the definitions, theories, and related research results of political socialization, to serve as reference for the drawing up of the research tool. The next step is to choose part of the student body of Shin-Dian City Elementary School as the research samples and conduct the test through a self-created questionnaire. The data gathered from the questionnaires were measured and analyzed using statistical methods such as the t Test, single factor variant analysis and Pearson’s accumulated product. The conclusions are as follows: 1. The level of political socialization of Shin-Dian elementary school students is higher-middle. There is a significant difference in the levels of boys and girls; the girls’ test grades were better than the boys’. Likewise, students from upper level families did better than students from lower level families. 2. The political attitude of Shin-Dian elementary school students is aggressive and positive-oriented. There is a significant difference between parents with different political party leanings regarding national and racial identities. Students whose parents leaned towards the ruling party were more aggressive in dealing with the two topics. In addition, the same results occurred among fathers with different origins of birth. 3. The political behavior of the students was aggressive and positive-oriented. The primary source for political information is the mass media, with parents and peers coming in second. 4. The political knowledge, political attitude and efficacy of political behavior of the students are significantly related to each other. Students who scored highly in tests on political knowledge are aggressive and positive-oriented in terms of political attitude and behavior.
