Summary: | 碩士 === 大同大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 90 === In this paper a impedance compensation technique to compensate the propagation delay in different length of waveguide is proposed. The digital waveguide meshes are most be implemented as square or triangular topologies. The density of the junctions in meshes influences the computational complexity and correctness. A non-uniform mesh would satisfy the requirements, but different length of waveguide means different time step. This is one of the limitations to implement a non-uniform mesh. A impedance compensation technique solves the problem by converting the different time step to synchronous step with the modification of impedance in waveguide. We have proven in this paper that the ratio of impedance in two waveguide is proportion to the squared ratio of the length of two waveguide. By applying this technique, a non-square digital waveguide mesh is implemented.
