Recently, Microsoft also introduce the new .NET framework for web application development. Web programming languages have many varieties, for example, ASP, PHP, ASP.NET and Perl etc. OpenFlow also provides versions for Perl, ASP, PHP and they allow programmers many alternatives on choosing web programming languages. This research attempts to understand the execution performances of different web programming languages.
