The ballistic resistance performance of single polymer composite board is discussed widely, but the polymer composite board composed of two polymer materials is rarely reported. Due to the restrictions on price and weight, the expensive and inexpensive materials are used to form the mixture. Several parameters such as the ratio of thickness , arranged location, multiple spacing or aluminum were considered to improve the ballistic resistance of the mixture. In this thesis, the ballistic resistance behavior of mixture of polymer composite board with parameters mentioned above were investigated. The polymer composites boards used in this work were made by Aramid (Kevlar 29) prepreg plies and Glass fibers (E-Glass). With 10mm total thickness, excluding spacing, the ballistic resistance behavior of polymer composites board were studied through different ratio of thickness, different arranged location and multiple spacing. We also discussed the polymer composites boards with aluminum. In this case, the aluminum was arrayed in the polymer composites boards in order to investigate the ballistic resistance behavior. In this research, we bring up the basic studies of the ballistic resistance and build the database of relative ballistic parameters .
