Summary:碩士 === 國防大學中正理工學院 === 電子工程研究所 === 91 === Based on direct frequency conversion techniques, a design of active integrated antenna applying at U-NII band of IEEE 802.11a is presented to simplify RF front end circuit. Basically, the active devices Schottky diodes are compactly integrated ring antenna to act as the mixers. The mode characteristic of ring resonator can generate different phase shift. Therefore, the ring shape structure servers as both antenna and phase shifter. The active integrated antenna with oscillator can perform direct conversion transceiver. In transmission experiment, sine wave and square wave modulated signals are demonstrated. In receiver experiment, active integrated antenna can receive and demodulate 1MHz sine wave and square waveform without serious distortion. The experiment result can verify the feasibility of wireless application.
