To understand their satisfaction after participating in learning activities. To provide researchers references to advance community college affairs. And to provide references for departments responsible for the community college. This research uses the method of questionnaire survey with participants in community college in Tainan City during the first semester of 2002. There are 674 effective samples and the research tool is “The Questionnaire Survey on the Learning Satisfaction of Students in Community College in Tainan City.” Through statistical analysis we have eight conclusions: 1. On the whole the students are satisfied with the learning at community college. 2. The aspect with highest satisfaction is “Teacher’s Instruction.” 3. The planning and contents of courses in community college still need improvement. 4. The aspect with lowest satisfaction is “Administrative Services.” 5. There is still room for improvement of the learning environment in community college. 6. The learning satisfaction is not affected much by background variances. 7. Such as age , education ,family income, and occupation ,etc. background variances lead to obvious differences in aspects such as “Teacher’s Instruction”, “Course Content”, “Learning Environment” and “Administration Service.” 8. Only a small percentage of the people living in the suburbs participate in the learning programs. According to the conclusions above, we could offer some advice to community college in Tainan City and government departments related as references. 1. Upgrade the quality of teachers and enhance teachers’ accomplishments of adult education. 2. Establish a system of certification to quality learning achievement to motivate students. 3. Arrange courses with local features to promote the development of the community. 4. Add daytime courses and courses on weekends. 5. Improve the learning environment to provide students with an appropriate place to learn and study. 6. Extend the open times of the library. 7. Enhance administrative services to help students overcome their learning difficulties. 8. Set up learning places in the suburbs.
