| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 91 === In this paper, we will use several existing OCDMA codes to encode a special label, which is different from MPLS label, attaching to the front of packet. When transmission of optical packets is going in optical network, the result of correlation function between label and the specific code of node decide how to switch or forward this packet. It requires neither O/E/O procedure nor header modification. In addition, we will describe how to encode the label, analyze the characteristics of several codes, decide which code is good for encoding label, and discuss scalability of the optical network with OCDMA code label.
