Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 機械系 === 91 === In FDM (fused deposition modeling) rapid prototyping (RP) of manufacturing system, the continuous zigzag path planning is the major process for the material deposition. The zigzag path planning method uses scanning line approach over a sliced contour. The angle between the scanning line and the x-axis is called the path angle. The number of path corner depends on the path angle placed. This affects the fabrication time. The fewer corners, the short the fabrication time will be. The objective of this research is to present an efficient method to find the best path angle with minimum number of path corner. Then, the zigzag path planning can be done by the determined path angle. An analysis for RP fabrication time is also provided in the research. The verification by experimental results is given in the end of this thesis.
