KVM is a samll but complete version of Java Virtual Machine that is designed for embeddeded system. There are many companies uses KVM to develop their IA products, such as PDA and Web PAD. Various version of KVM can be downloaded from Sun Microsystems including Linux, Windows 2000 and Solaris Operating System.
Although KVM is small, these are no suitable operating system design for it. In this thesis, we design and implement a small and integrated Java execution environment for embedded system.
