Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 建築與都市計畫學系碩士班 === 91 === City-a highly populous and economic activity area. Hence, the impact by earthquake is higher than the other area. Since the earthquake in 1995 Hyogo-Ken Nanbu earthquake, Japan and 921 Chi-Chi earthquake in 1999, follow by the severe landslides in 2001, it has reveal there many weakness and insufficiency on the urban disaster protection in Taiwan to prevent natural disaster. Therefore, a complete research, develop systematic procedure, assessment and analysis is urgency. Built a safety city is the foundation of urban development. Performance assessment on the urban disaster protection ability, evaluate and adjust the index of the quantification of the old city plan. Hoping study the relationship of the actual urban spacting to disaster protection system can promote effetiveness thus reduce the loss of life and property. The purpose of this project is to study the urban disaster protection plan of Miaoli city. Focusing study on the shelter location and evacuate rough system, conduct research on the appointed area with the real world situation, compare and anaylize with the existing urban disaster protection plan, and apply the spacing concept to the city future planning to provide a healthy and a safer living environment. This is the goal of this project.
