Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 營建管理研究所 === 91 === Abstract Since the technique of schedule management had been developed in the middle of 1950s, it had quickly been implemented in all domains. As the technique has been improved continued, the problems, such as over budge and out of schedule, still happened occasionally. In 1997, Dr. Goldratt proposed a new technique of schedule management of Critical Chain based on the Theory of Constraints. He thought that the project’s problems of over budge and out of schedule are not due to the technique, but are from human’s bad behaviors. Critical Chain Scheduling Method (CCSM) uses the concept of limited resources for a project and eliminating human’s bad behaviors to scheduling a project. CCSM employs the buffers to protect project away from delays. This technique was been approved that it is beneficial to schedule management after CPM/PERT. The study analyzes the fundamentals of Critical Chain Scheduling Method (CCSM), illustrates the procedures of applying CCSM and explores whether the CCSM is feasible to construction project scheduling by a case study. This study concludes that the CCSM could be a good alternative of scheduling tool in construction domain if related works furnished. keyword:critical chain、schedule management、theory of constraints、buffer management。
