Reliability, power quality, economic cost and even the company image are influenced by the transformers health. So transformers health is paid much attention. The purpose of this project is to find the causes and relationships of transformer faults. For the purpose, some reports and event recorders of transformer fault would be analyzed to suppose the most possible cause of faults and a resonance equivalent circuit of transformer for simulation would be built up based on the structure of system and the result of analysis and of resonance of transformer in this research. The formulas of the magnetic force that is resulted from by slightly displacement between the first winding and the second winding are deduced by the magnetic theory in this research. The waveform of the magnetic force between the first winding and the second winding is simulated by MATLAB and it is proved that magnetic force is resulted from slightly displacement of the winding. The phenomenon of the resonance in the transform windings after the transmission line fault is simulated by EMTP.
