Summary: | 碩士 === 華梵大學 === 機電工程研究所 === 91 === This thesis was to design an electro-optical、fiber-broken detectable module that can be applied in the fiber industry to improve the quality of the spinning process. For simplicity, a commercial laser pointer was used as light source. A sensitive detection circuit was designed and implemented, but the false alarm rate was high due to the noise caused by a lot of reasons, like the air clearness. In order to provide more reliable detection, we design an algorithm to process the signal digitally. By simulation on Matlab, we proved the false alarm rate could be lowered by calculating the correlation and trend of the received signal.
