There is a disk tray slides into a CD-ROM driver. This tray type mechanism has been developed to several different types. For example, there is semi-auto slim CD-ROM driver for the notebook which you push a button to open it. It is also a Tray type mechanism. Up to now there is no any profit for the manufacturer to product this traditional Tray Type CD-ROM driver. That is also cannot satisfy a consumer which likes diversification. When you review the broadcasts of CD player for a car audio; the Tray type CD player should be found a new snap course. The manufacturer makes a Slot In Type of CD-ROM driver now. This is very painstakingly designed of exquisite transmission mechanism, which the CD disk grabs into CD-ROM driver. That is different from the Tray Type and without any tray. The CD disk is slot in and out of an interstice bigger than 120 mm diameter. In this thesis, we are used COSMOS/Motion and ADAMS to make the Mechanism Simulation for the most competition product in the market of Slot In type CD-ROM driver. The ADAMS is popularly to make use of Multi-body System Analysis, MSA. We can establish a 3D substantiation from the analysis of ADAMS for each components. The ADAMS can make analysis for each different joint of components to result the restraining. In the early stages of researching and developing of new product we use a computer auxiliary tool—Virtual Prototyping to make the mechanism analysis. It is not necessary to make a reality product to improve the rigid and hinder body mechanism. In another word, the engineer can make several different designs and making the evaluation of characteristic and function without make a materialized sample. At the same time they can try another way to find substitute for new produce.
