Staffs in school need to implement all routine administrative affairs. Owning to long-time training and high cost, it is very difficult to train and nurture a talent staff. Thus, how to detain the excellent staffs and endeavor themselves with pleasure in school to against the head-on challenges is the topic that school authorities need to seriously consider. In this study, we use job rotation as independent variable, job satisfaction as mediation variable and organization commitment as dependent variable to probe the relations among these variables. This research utilizes a questionnaire method and the statistical parameter, such as confidence analysis、descriptive statistic analysis、t-test、one-way ANOVA analysis and multi-regression analysis are employed. The target objects are the staffs of the southern Taiwan’s private universities. In this study, we had found and concluded five results: 1.Slightly statistical difference existed between job rotation, job satisfaction and organization commitment, owning to individual personality. 2.Significantly positive relationship existed between job rotation and job satisfaction, job satisfaction and organization commitment. 3.Significantly positive relationship existed between job rotation and value commitment and effort commitment. 4.Significantly positive relationship existed between internal satisfaction and value commitment and effort commitment. The same tendency was also existed between external satisfaction and value commitment and effort commitment. 5.Job satisfaction has a mediation effect in the perception of job rotation and organization commitment. According the above preliminary results, five conclusions were proposed as below: 1.Routine and fairly job rotation is highly necessary in the university staffs. 2.Higher educated degree staffs agree with the benefit of job rotation and thus willing to job rotation. 3.Professor could serve as part-time director in some administrative units, it obstruct the daily administrative affairs. Besides, the staff promotion chances are decreased and the job satisfaction is also influenced in this situation. 4.The job satisfaction and organization were affected by the sense of staffs. 5.Job satisfaction is the mediation factor that influences the organization commitment. Consequently, the school authorities should routine and fairly carry out job rotation to enhance the staffs’ job satisfaction. Besides, the increased commitments of the staffs also strengthen the competition of the school.
