Taiwan national traditional textile industry has moved to a competitive global market and faced the upcoming impact and challenges. Considering the liberalization of capitalized market, competitive internationalization and rapid development of information technology (IT), the enterprises transformed themselves into extendable virtual enterprises, and formed up complete internal soft- and hard-wares by applying the functions of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used for IT in order to survive. In this way, the enterprises can integrate the whole information on management in time, achieve the operation of the re-built enterprise process and assist the decision-makers of top management to gain immediately and transparently; further pursue the flexible productivity during the operation, become customized and shorten the cycle times. Finally, it will improve customer’s satisfaction, reduce the cost for operation and step into the mechanism of reforming enterprise management. By making the enterprise informative, intelligent and professional to successfully combine the information and the efficiency of operation will be improved and the advantageous position to compete will as well come along. The major topic of this research is to study the ways, the organization mechanism and effectiveness of ERP system implemented by Everest Textile Company. Starting with some documents, literature and the interviews with Everest to discuss the related questions induced by conducting ERP system in details, the structure of this research, the questionnaires and the three basic assumptions then formed. Based on the results from the questionnaires done by a hundred and twenty employees of Everest, with the analysis of reliability, validity, mono-factor variance, Pearson correlation, and level regression, etc. to inspect all the assumptions and come out with a finding. The conclusion of this research is listed as below: 1.It is a valuable mode to study the implementations, the organization mechanism and effectiveness of ERP. 2.On the aspect of implementations, by combining several similar modes with a total aspect conducting method, to proceed with the re-built engineering for enterprise process can have an effective ERP system more easily. 3.The whole organization mechanism of ERP system can help to team up the employees and make them actively, and by placing the organization and the system flow in the mechanism of top management can increase the effectiveness of implementing ERP System. 4.Realizing the priority of performing ERP system, it is essential to drive the organization to execute and pay attention to the consensus of the entire employees to participate and consequently to achieve the system effectiveness. 5.Coordinating with ERP system, supporting what the policy makers of top management commit is the successful key to implement the system. 6.Implementing ERP system for enterprise is a clear blueprint to position the future development.
