The purpose of this study were (1) to understand the changes in the quality of nursing care above level of regional hospitals during the years 1991, 1994, 1997;(2) to compare the difference and correlation in the quality of nursing care above level of regional hospitals during the years 1991, 1994, 1997;(3) to compare the difference in the quality of nursing care among ownership of hospitals. This study design was longitudinal and cross-sectional. The data secondary sources was derived from data bank of hospital accreditation for the years 1991, 1994, 1997,provided by the Department of health. This study was based on the structure-process-outcome theoretical model. The results showed that:(1) the total score the quality of nursing care of medical centers were not significant difference during the years 1991, 1994, 1997;(2) the total score the quality of nursing care of regional hospitals were significant difference during the years 1991, 1994, 1997;(3) there was a significant relationship structure, process, outcome the quality of nursing care of medical centers and regional hospitals.(4) the total score the quality of nursing care among different of ownership of medical centers and regional hospitals were not significant difference during the different years. The study suggest trying to make the data bank complete, to put more importance on quality of process and outcome dimensions.
