The effect of the delay parameter should be discussed for any existing system. In this paper, we investigate and research the delay phenomenon for the linear phase-locked loop (LPLL) system. We also analyze the stability of the system. Firstly, we construct the mathematical model of the systematic flow and the configuration of the block diagram. By using the simulation program of the MATLAB software package, we design two types of the simulate voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and three types of the common low-pass filter (LPF) which are represented by passive lag filter, active lag filter and active proportional integrate (PI) filter.
