Regarding speed response, each control system’s performance is examined and compared with the performance of the other two systems. In addition, it is demonstrated through simulation and experiment. The thesis uses Simulink program, a PC, and a program controller. At various speed situations of load and unload, simulation and experiment demonstrate that the result of speed response of a self-tuning fuzzy speed controller is better than that of a conventional proportional integral speed controller and fuzzy speed controller.
