碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 財務金融學系碩士在職專班 === 91 === Abstract
While capital markets are becoming more globally integrated, the TAFEX is in the continual state of flux. It must be more likely in accord with the financial innovation and trading development. It is not enough to say that the integration will continue, but one must identify the force behind increasing integration and understand what will be the strength of TAIFEX in the future.
With the factor analysis of the expert questionnaire, the picture of competition environment of TAIFEX through the typical diamond model might be well characterized by the seven facets: the proper institutionalization (facet conditions); the internationalization-and- flexibility (facet conditions); the more advancing quality of human resource and knowledge (facet conditions); the superiority of information system (facet conditions); the integration of future exchange (firm strategy、structure and rivalry); the strategic cooperation across markets (firm strategy、structure and rivalry); the independence of information department (related and supporting industries); the unitary audit (Govermment); the completeness of contracts of financial products (demand conditions) . Because the internationalization-and- flexibility including less requirement on the entrance of foreign and domestic institutions investments as well as better communication with the authority, it is more likely attributed into the government-facet in the modified diamond model (denoted as TAIFEX-diamond model).In the meanwhile,the comparisons of SWOT with TAIFEX- diamond model will be provided.
