Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 資訊科學研究所 === 91 === The ubiquitous SCSI and TCP/IP have contributed to the standardization of iSCSI protocol. iSCSI protocol combines properties of SCSI and TCP/IP and takes the forte of TCP/IP to break the limitations of SCSI. Because iSCSI is an emerging protocol, the acceptance of the protocol depends a lot on how it can be adopted for the existing working environment.s. In this thesis, we propose an agent server architecture that can be used to address the issues in heterogeneous environments where the implementation of iSCSI protocols might results in incompatibility. To forward the requests that iSCSI devices are unable to handle to an agent server will increase managerial efficiency and compatibility to enhance the practicability.
