Visitors can see a general development of the history by following proper directions. However, the historical information is always presented through fragmental displays. It would be difficult for visitors to totally understand the whole process of the historical transition after receiving all the fragmentary information. This thesis provides a new concept of time-space exhibition through “Human-Time Interaction”. We attempt to construct a physical-virtual integrated “Time-Space ” structure to organize all the information about historical context. The purpose is to enhance the visitor’s sense of historical context, articulate fragmental displays, and help visitors to create a series of connected historical images in their minds. The contribution of this thesis is to integrate visitors, exhibition media, and timelines in the applications of historical exhibition design. Tangible user interfaces are developed as motivating examples to demonstrate the concept of time-space exhibition. The examples create a new experience of interaction different from the traditional ones. Taysheng Jeng 鄭泰昇 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 127 zh-TW
